Besides the photography studio, Rens Harzing has built a solid foundation in the camera industry in recent years. Since 2020, Hard to Find Camera Store has grown into a well-known international brand. A major step will follow at the end of 2025: the move to a large 1,100 m² building, designed as a comprehensive experience center with a camera shop, museum, photo studio, warehouse, and office space.
This combination of functions makes it a unique place where technology, history, creativity, and logistics converge. In the years leading up to this move, more than 25,000 cameras were rescued, tested, and sold worldwide – from packages to Canada to pallets to Bahrain. This international experience gives Studio Rens Harzing a strong technical foundation and a deep understanding of equipment and image quality.
Background in strategy and new markets
Before establishing the camera shop, Rens Harzing worked as a co-owner at a marketing agency. His specialty was breaking into new markets and increasing visibility for organizations. This experience is a valuable addition to his photographic work: images are not only crafted with craftsmanship but also logically align with broader communication structures, campaigns, and organizational goals.
